Emily Steadman

Emily works in Maketing in Covent Garden. You can follow her on her blog as a 21st Century Flaneur at: http://ehs23.wordpress.com/

Where are you going?

I wish I knew; although I find the element of mystery in the future exciting - what does this week/month/year/decade ho
ld?

How tall are you? : 5 feet 9 inches (nearly)

What are you looking at?

a roaring log fire and my husband, making a mix tape. I do love Sundays at home.
What part of you do you love the most?

my mind - it's what makes me, me.
Can you draw me a self portrait.

I'm better with words than a paintbrush or crayon, so: I'm tall with a runner's build; have brown curly hair with reddish/blonde shades cut in Vidal training school's latest style; red, ruddy cheeks, blue eyes, fair skin; defined features.

Do you believe in God? Yes, I think so.
Who would you like to be for a day?

Someone really really clever. It would be amazing to be in the mind of a genius - whether they are a writer, artist, banker, politician - I'd love to know how they think.

When was the last time you cried? A few days ago.
How many times have you lost?

I'm guessing this is an intentionally ambiguous question, but yes - I have lost. Difficult to put a figure on it.

Favourite sartorial item? Dresses
Dusk or dawn? Dawn
Tell me your heart's desire. To be peaceful.
What do you mutter most frequently under your breath? Dammit.
What moves you?

Certain literature and films, that is: human stories.

Red or blue?

That's a hard one. I like them both, depends on my mood.
Describe passion:

Heart dropping (in a good way), stomach churning, butterflies, mind-lifting, soaring, unstoppable, almost unbearable, ravenous, singular. I think I've mixed this up with love, as well.
Do you have a recurring dream?

Not continually, but I have definitely had a similar dream more than once, usually to do with something I'm worried about. Before I got married, I had numerous dreams about arriving at the church in jeans and not having my dress ready or the right clothes and accessories, etc.

Are you content? yes mostly

What are you looking at? you want a piece of me?!

Which word do you most associate with sex? sex

How tall are you? 5' 9" (and a half on a good day)

What is your guiltiest pleasure?

Watching TV when I could be
doing something more constructive with my life

What is your alter-animal? (if you had to be an animal which is most like you, either physically or otherwise?)

Probably a Rabbit. I eat Rabbit food, apparently!

How much time do you have left? Alot!

What makes you cry?

Arguing with my boyfriend or watching sad movies.

What/who matters most to you?

My friends, my gorgeous man, my disjointed and quirky family.

Where are most peaceful?

By the sea. Or if that's not possible, in my bedroom, especially now we have moved it to the other side of the house and the floor is no longer wonky!

How deep is beauty?

Very. Ugly souls become uglier with time. Real beauty is ageless.  The more happy and genuinely secure you are the more beautiful others seem too.

How many friends do you have?

I have about 5-10 old (as in we've been friends since 11 or younger) friends and other friends I have made since ebing in London and whilst in Bristol. I couldn't count. They come and go depending on what is going on in your life and what is going on in their life too.

Is there anything you would like to confess?

No, just incase they read this blog! ;-)

What was your wish as a child? To be a ballerina.

What is your wish now?

To be happy and be able to find peace in this crazy world.

What subject are you most ignorant of?

Geography, I'm rubbish at knowing where random countries are and I find it difficult to understand "certain" cultural differences, though I can appreciate most.

Can you draw me a picture of your heart as it is today.

No because that would involve cutting my chest open.

Clare Edmondson

Clare is a musician, linguist and personal shopper to the stars. She is also pursuing a career as a TV presenter.

Where are you going?

Wandering aimlessly mostly, but having fun en route.

How tall are you?

a statuesque 5'10 with heels on

What are you looking at?

A bunch of orange lilies, the leftovers of my lunch, and homemade bread

What part of you do you love the most?

Different parts as I get to know myself better, but always off-the-wall humour. Physically, legs, shoulders and lips.

Do you believe in God?
Like to think of it as G(ood) O(rderly)
D(irection).

Who would you like to be for a day?

Flipper, Skippy, Lassie, Beyonce!

When was the last time you cried?

a few days ago maybe

How many times have you lost?

Enough times, but not everyone can always win

Favourite sartorial item?

Wouldn't know where to start - red mini military jacket with gold embroidery and pearl buttons from vintage shop in Notting Hill, my black suede ankle boots, my Sass and Bide jeans, my wool cloak, my New Look-but-don't-look-it-£10 go-with-everything killer heels, my fox fur,  but best of all PYJAMAS and fleece socks (my most expansive answer so far is about clothes. not shallow at all)

Dusk or dawn?

Dawn only on the right side (i.e. approaching from the nighttime without having gone to bed) but dusk for the light, colour, and feeling

Tell me your heart's desire.

Couldn't possibly divulge... okay, peace, serenity, fulfilment, and a happy home life always. Oh, and having a tea shop and being a TV presenter.

What do you mutter most frequently under your breath?

"Clare, What the F*** are you doing?"

What moves you?

Nature: the sea, lakes, mountains, the sky, and people who have little but give much.  Unrelenting kindness and compassion, and strength in true adversity.
Red or blue? blue

Describe passion:

Unequivocal, unbridled, maddening, out-of-control desire to get tangled up in something in which you can't see the wood for the trees.  Cavorting with the coveted!

Do you have a recurring dream?

Yes, I have one where I get a pain in my chest, can't breathe, or speak, and my heart feels like it's being squeezed and tightened, and I wake up and have heart spasm for real.  Very odd.  Other than that I have another recurring dream about failing modules at university (still, after nearly 5 years!).

Anna Tringham

Anna Tringham works as an Heir Hunter in London. Previously she trod, sung and danced across the boards of the world's stages.

Where are you going?

No idea. Wherever it is it'll probably have cats.

How tall are you?

5'8" and I love every inch of it.

What are you looking at?

A dying kumquat plant on the sideboard in my reception room. It's fairly symbolic of me actually. Fruity and delicate, but ultimately in the wrong place.

What part of you do you love the most?

Physically? My face and decolletage.
Personality? I am hilarious.

Can you draw me a self portrait:

I can't draw people. So: I am female, I have a blonde long bob haircut..
Small elfin facial features and a slightly pensive look when in repose. A cute enviable nose apparently. Green eyes, high cheek bones. Lips that have very little colour to them.. Fading freckles.

Do you believe in God? NO.

Who would you like to be for a day?

A rich me.

When was the last time you cried?

Saturday night. Drunk, coming back from a friend's wedding.

How many times have you lost?
Enough.

Favourite sartorial item?

Jeans. Any kind. They are a great equaliser. And a leather Firetrap leather jacket. It should have been £375, but it was in the sale for what I thought was written as £112. It turns out it said £175 but the manager let me have it for £112!

Dusk or dawn?

Dusk. Seeing dawn reminds me I'm up too early!

Tell me your heart's desire.

I would like to work in theatre again. I miss it terribly.

What do you mutter most frequently under your breath

"Oh for fuck's sake"

What moves you?
Three things: A song sung by Josh Groban, films with the underlying theme of "Love Conquers All", and plays that explore the human condition.

Red or blue?

RED!

Describe passion: That's a tough one. An insatiable urge to envelope yourself in something or someone.

Do you have a recurring dream?

I dream I am in a large sci-fi looking cube, with my mother and sister on the upper edges. I know I have to rescue them but the cube either fills with water or the dimensions change and I can't reach them.
